Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StreamScope (the “Service”), including our website, mobile application, and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StreamScope aggregates publicly available trending and popular content data across multiple streaming services and presents it in a unified interface. We help you discover what to watch — we do not stream, host, or distribute any video content.

3. Not Affiliated with Streaming Services

StreamScope is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Max, Amazon or Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Peacock, or any other streaming service. All trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of their respective owners. Any references to streaming services are for informational purposes only.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

5. Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at contact@streamscope.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Free and Paid Tiers

StreamScope offers both a free tier and a paid subscription (“Pro”):

  • Free tier: Access to up to 2 streaming services with ads.
  • Pro ($2.99/month): Access to all supported streaming services, ad-free experience, and push notifications for new and departing content.

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective terms and policies. StreamScope does not process payments directly.

7. Data Accuracy

Trending data, rankings, release dates, and content availability displayed in StreamScope are sourced from third-party providers. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate and up-to-date, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Content availability varies by region and is subject to change by the streaming services at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

Content metadata, including movie and TV show posters, synopses, and related information, is provided by TMDB and is used under their terms. StreamScope uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

All original content within the Service — including but not limited to the design, layout, code, text, graphics, and overall look and feel — is the property of StreamScope and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service or extract data.
  • Redistribute, resell, or republish any data or content obtained from the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any other systems or networks.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreamScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to StreamScope in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
