About these charts

Where do these charts come from?

Each service's Top 10 is the US chart it shows its subscribers, collected every morning through FlixPatrol. Posters and details come from TMDB. We keep every day's chart, so runs are counted from our own archive.

What does "days in a row" mean?

The number of days a title has been in that service's Top 10 without a break, counted from the charts we saw. A day with no chart ends a run, so the count never claims a day we can't show. FlixPatrol's own total counts every day ever charted, with gaps, so we call that "days in the Top 10" instead.

How is "rising fast" worked out?

By comparing each title's place today with its place on yesterday's chart for the same service and list. A title that wasn't in yesterday's Top 10 is new, not a climber, unless FlixPatrol ranked it just outside (for example #11).

Why are movies and series separate?

Because the services rank them separately: each publishes a Top 10 movies and a Top 10 series.
